right near Kuşadasi's centre, this hotel has been reconstructed on the site of
an old Turkish mansion, The Villa Konak is built in a style which recaptures the
charm of its bygone days.
There
are 27 rooms built around two courtyards, the first has a magnificent magnolia
tree in one corner, and the second a swimming pool and sun terrace with sunbeds.
Directly below the courtyards is a terrace and reception area decorated with Turkish
Artefacts. There is also a pleasant garden with an orange and lemon grove and
an old well. İn one corner of the grounds there is a small bar inside a quaint
cottage, complete with a water pump on its small terrace.
The
rooms are all very comfortable, each with private bathroom, and all required modern
facilities.
The
Villa Konak has become the passion and hobby of its owner, Kaya Bey, since his
retirement from business. You will see evidence of this in the small attention
to detail, which is to be seen around the complex. Another of his hobbies is cooking
and you can sample some of his traditional Turkish Food most evenings, just let
him know when you you'd like to eat in!
Situated
in a great location close to fabulous shops and numerous bars and restaurants.
İt is also just five minute walk from the sea. Stepping through the doorway of
the Villa Konak finds guests in a peaceful haven, perfect for relaxing and experiencing
traditional Turkish Hospitality.
