Efes Hotels > Nisanyan Evleri Nisanyan Evleri
Special Class
Nisanyan
Evleri consists of a 5-room hotel and three comfortably furnished units in the
historic village of Sirince, located in the hills 11 km (7 miles) from ancient
Ephesus. The accommodation combines style and comfort with the genuine atmosphere
of a beautiful Aegean village. The buildings date back to the 19th Century, and
have retained their authenticity beautifully. All
units have indoor bathrooms, and central heating is provided during winter, there
is no need for air conditioning as the village enjoys cool evening air at 350
m (1000-ft) altitude. There is also a fully functioning kitchen within each unit.
An unusually rich breakfast is included in the room price. Provided in a farm
basket each morning, along with freshly baked bread left at dawn. The
hotel of Nisanyan Evleri stands on the hill top at the upper edge of Sirince.
It provides a wonderful view over the village rooftops and across the vineyards
and olive groves of the valley. The
hotel has five rooms, three doubles, one twin, one single. Each with a private
bathroom. Room no. 1, which is somewhat larger than the others, has a beautiful
antique bathtub, in which you can bathe against the stunning panorama of the valley.
Breakfast
is served of wonderful fresh produce and home made goods, and guests may partake
in this hearty meal at whatever time they wish to raise their heads.
To
assure a friendly atmosphere, there are plenty of common areas in the hotel. There
are two lounges, furnished with the antiques which were inherited from the owners
Aunt Selma. Then the library, which is well stocked with good books - not the
usual paperback stuff. The CD collection has mostly Bach and Haydn, with some
unusual Turkish music and a few mementoes a relative who used to be an operatic
soprano. There is also internet service available, but no TV!

"It
has been delightful, peaceful, relaxing staying here. Falling asleep with a fire
blazing or casements flung open, waking to songs of birds, goats, donkeys, sumptuous
breakfasts, the gorgeous views! You have created a lovely haven."Lili Shidlovski,
Oakland, California, 21.04 2000 "Although
our stay was short, the thoughtfulness and careful attention to creating an ambience
of serenity and beauty will stay with us for a long time... A joy for the good
and beatiful are everywhere in evidence in the house -- such a delight to discover
the many visual and sensual treats throughout the house and gardens!" Brad
