On
the outskirts of Urgup, this very pretty cave hotel is carved
completely out of the rock and offers a splendid view over the
beautiful Cappadocian landscape.
All
rooms face west and open onto terraced areas which are a comfortable
and relaxing place to sit and enjoy the view. Each room has an
ensuite, and because they are inside the cave they are lovley
and cool in the summer. The rooms are a good size and have very
pretty furniture and decor, including lovely wooden bookshelves,
and the rooms on the lowest level even boast a Tandurư, a traditional
Turkish oven in the ground.
Breakfast
is served outside on the terrace, and there is a lovely sitting
room adjoining a spacious kitchen which is available for the guests
to use if they desire.
