Pension Assos This
fantastic Pension is located right by the ruins of Assos Ancient City. The Pension
has been running for the last 5 years. The owner, Ismail Bey, used to work as
a chief mechanic in a city, then he decided to escape from the rat-race and dedicated
himself to restoring old local houses. The
pension has 7 rooms in total, of which 4 are original and over 200 years old.
These 4 rooms give guests a wonderful impression of how village houses used to
be in this area of Turkey. The
rooms are simply decorated, but all have private bathroom, and modern facilities.
The luxury is minimal, but comfort and mystical atmosphere are abundant, and will
be well appreciated by guests during their stay. The
owner describes the place as follows " For those who want to spend great
time in Antique village rooms next to the temple of Athena, with the best view
of the coast and the Islands on the Aegan". You will be sure to agree with
whatis said above when you see the fantastic terrace with possibly the largest
view of the amazing sights surrounding the place. The
terrace has simple seating but is so different from the more modern ones in the
area. A stay here will be much more than satisfying for those looking more for
local tastes than luxury.
