Old
Bridge House Hotel Assos   This
small bed and breakfast hotel is located a short distance outside of town, and
is right by an old historical ottoman bridge. This hotel does not have an historical
background, though it does take advantage of the local atmosphere through its
architecture. The hotel has only a few rooms, giving everybody that stays here
the full attention they deserve.
The
hotel has a warm and welcoming atmosphere, and has been designed delicately to
the owner's taste, and reflects an oriental atmosphere. Each room has its own
private bathroom, and an individual style with elegant furnishings, with special
attention given to small details.
The
Hotel is especially noted for its shady gardens. One of the gardens has a lot
of cozy corners, with a little pool and shower to cool off on a hot summer's day,
and plenty of places in the shade. There is a lovely Thai style sitting platform
with kilims and pillows, a bar, dart corner -- wonderful places to relax and enjoy
the atmosphere. The other garden is separated by the road and has its own style,
with hammocks and umbrellas on the green grass and a small vegetable garden, don't
miss out on picking a fresh tomato from the garden while there.
The
hotel has a wonderful a la carte restaurant, and well stocked bar, taking good
care of their guests is a very high priority here, and visitors will be more than
happy with the service, as well as the all over atmosphere of this beautiful hotel.
Cem
and Diana are the hosts of the hotel, and are more than happy to share stories
with guests of their memories here, and of the restoration work that has been
undertaken to convert the house into a cozy hotel. Though it is a bit outside
of town, the hotel has everything guests may need.
